The event has been organized by the Standing Committee on Testing and Evaluation of Transportation Structures (AFF40) of the Transportation Research Board (TRB), a division of the U.S. National Research Council. Description of the webinar: The overall structural behavior of a bridge can be determined through load testing. The webinar will delve into this topic, focusing on diagnostic load testing and proof load testing, and will identify how these tests can help refine the load rating of a bridge. The presenters will define the different load tests, provide guidance about when and if to conduct a load test, and discuss how to prepare for it.They will also interpret the test results and determine how to quantify safety in terms of the reliability index after a load test is included. We encourage you to consider attending this webinar.
