Change in Directorship at SIMTreC, ISHMII’s Host Research Centre
We are pleased to share news about Dr. Aftab Mufti and SIMTreC, the research centre at the University of Manitoba that hosts ISHMII.
Dr. Mufti assumed the directorship of SIMTreC as of Monday, October 16, 2017, as the previous director, Dr. Dagmar Svecova, stepped down to become Head of the Department of Civil Engineering. We thank Dr. Svecova, an ISHMII Council member, for her support and service for the past 5 years.
The relationship between SIMTreC and ISHMII stretches back to ISHMII’s founding.
