Call for papers: Special Issue on “Advances in SHM of Cable-Supported Bridges”
Structural health monitoring (SHM) technology is a critical topic in civil engineering. Dr. Farhad Ansari, Past President of ISHMII and Editor-in- Chief of the Journal of Civil Structural Health Monitoring (JCSHM), will compile a special issue of the JCSHM that focuses on “Advances in Structural Health Monitoring of Cable-Supported Bridges.”
You are invited to submit your work to this special issue. Following is the brief description. More detailed information is available in downloadable document: Call for Papers-JCSHM.
Potential topics include, but are not limited to:
· Smart sensors and advanced sensor networks
· Data processing and analysis
· Load identification and structural identification
· Model updating and condition assessment
· Structural health diagnosis and prognosis

· SHM-aided life-cycle performance assessment
· Fusion of SHM and artificial Intelligence

Submissions
Manuscripts must be submitted via the online submission and peer review systems at http://CSHM.edmgr.com. Follow the submission instructions given on this site. Please select the article type as “S.I. Advances in Structural Health Monitoring of Cable-Supported Bridges.”
Submitted manuscripts should not have been published previously, nor be under consideration for publication elsewhere (except conference proceedings papers). All manuscripts are thoroughly refereed through a peer-review process.
