• Get to know ISHMII, the Society for professionals, researchers, managers of infrastructure and students who specialize in and are concerned about civil structural health monitoring.  An international organization, ISHMII welcomes members working in all areas that contribute to our knowledge about the monitoring of these large structures and care about the safety of consumers and the economics of maintaining structures, including extending their life-cycle.  We suggest that you read the President’s Message and We Are ISHMII.
• ISHMII publishes the Journal of Civil Structural Health Monitoring (JCSHM), a peer-review journal of articles pertaining to this field.  You may read abstracts at the Springer site, here:  http://link.springer.com/journal/13349
• Quaterly, we solicit research reports on SHM from members and friends, and publish research briefs and articles in The Monitor.  Business offering services and products may submit descriptions of those applications, too.
• Each year, ISHMII members hold a regional workshop or an international conference to address state of the art advances and the newest issues, such as standards and resilience.  The next conference will be SHMII-10, to be held in Porto, Portugal in June 2021.  We invite you to attend.
• ISHMII is proud to collaborate with partner organizations to sponsor their professional gatherings, all in the spirit of knowledge sharing.  Look for the ISHMII logo.  We post notices of workshops, symposiums and conferences, and Calls for Papers at Upcoming Conferences and Workshops.  Would you like to receive messages about these events.  If so, contact central@Ishmii.org and ask to be placed on our e-mail list.
• Membership is simple.  All are welcome to join.  We offer individual and group memberships, so whether you are an individual practitioner or a corporate group, a student or a group of students working under an ISHMII member, there is a form of membership for you.
