You are invited to attend CSHM-7 on June 22-23, 2017.
Technological and computational development taking place in recent years worldwide has rendered updating engineering processes necessary in order to fully leverage these advances. Colombia, a seismically active country, is aware of the need to incorporate new technologies to implement different structural monitoring processes, thus improving the structural health of infrastructure works.
Universidad EAFIT seeks to enhance local structural monitoring awareness through a research group that has successfuly promoted international symposia on structural monitoring and health, and provides postgraduate courses and non-formal education related to implementing building instrumentation. There is a strong potential for the development of activities related to structural monitoring and health, not only in Colombia but also in South America. This potential market for commercially promoting the various products developed in recent years makes the region attractive to promote their development.
EAFIT is pleased to host CSHM-7 on behalf of ISHMII. We invite you to actively participate in CSHM-7 and cordially invite you to Colombia and Medellín. Learn more about Colombia and EAFIT at our workshop homepage.
Authors should read the deadlines and guidelines at the workshop website and submit papers at cshm7@eafit.edu.co.
